Heisei Policemen!! Web Anime's 1st Episode Streamed

Young Jump magazine began streaming the first episode of the web anime adaptation of So-He- Inaba's Heisei Policemen!! on Thursday. Production of the anime adaptation was revealed last month.
A cast list includes Kappei Yamaguchi as protagonist Gō Gō, Akira Harada as head patrol officer Shōzo Kinashi, Chiaki Takahashi as Gō's boss Jun Kurosawa, Shinya Fukumatsu as ramen shopkeeper Taishō, and Yuka Harui as the ramen shop's part-time worker Rin-Rin.
The police gag manga revolves around a rookie policeman named Gō Gō, who likes to do things at his own pace. Gō's higher-ups are tired of his relaxed way of living, but Gō continues to work to protect the town, often in unpredictable and hilarious ways. Inaba launched the manga in 2010, and Shueisha will publish the manga's 11th volume on April 19.
