Palace Cinemas announce Pop-Up Manga Festival in Brisbane

Palace Centro in Fortitude Valley to screen Studio Ghibli anime films over six weeks in June / July;

While the event is called Pop-Up Manga Festival, Palace Cinemas are screening Studio Ghibli anime films from Friday the 21st of June to Saturday the 27th of July. There are two screenings each week with Japanese dubs being screened on Friday nights and we assume that the family films screening on Saturdays are English dub.

    • Friday June 21st @ 8:45pm: Howl's Moving Castle (Buy Tickets).
    • Friday June 28st @ 8:45pm: Spirited Away (Buy Tickets).
    • Friday July 5th @ 8:45pm: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Buy Tickets).
    • Friday July 12th @ 8:45pm: Arrietty (Buy Tickets).
    • Friday July 19th @ 8:45pm: My Neighbor Totoro (Buy Tickets).
    • Friday July 26th @ 8:45pm: From Up On Poppy Hill (Buy Tickets).
  • Pop-up Manga Family Films
    • Saturday June 22nd @ 12:00pm: Ponyo (Buy Tickets).
    • Saturday June 29th @ 12:00pm: My Neighbor Totoro (Buy Tickets).
    • Saturday July 6th @ 12:00pm: Laputa Castle in the Sky (Buy Tickets).
    • Saturday July 13th @ 12:00pm: From up on Poppy Hill (Buy Tickets).
    • Saturday July 20th @ 12:00pm: Arrietty (Buy Tickets).
    • Saturday July 27th @ 12:00pm: Kiki's Delivery Service (Buy Tickets).
