K-ON! Season 2 Part 2 Released Monday

Also, vintage series Nightwalker, final volume of Persona 4 The Animation and first collected edition of Fairy Tail.

On Monday July 22, Manga Entertainment will release the second half of K-ON! Season 2, containing parts 14 to 26. It continues the story of the Sakuragaoka Girl's High School's Light Music Club, as the four older members of the girl band approach the end of their school year and graduation. Their last challenges include marathons, yearbook photos, a performance of Romeo and Juliet and the band's last school performance together.

Also on Monday, MVM will release the 1998 anime series Nightwalker. According to the summary on the Anime-on-line website, "Shido Tatsuhiko is not only a private eye; he is also a vampire with no real memory of his past. Joined by Yayoi Matsunaga, a female government agent, Riho Yamazaki, an orphaned teenage girl working as his secretary, and Guni, a little green imp, Shido must face demonic creatures known as Nightbreed. Meanwhile, Cain, the vampire who made him what he is now, is seeking him."

Manga will also release the third and final volume of Persona 4 The Animation (below right), which completes the action/mystery series about teenagers who find a foggy world through a TV screen, and must fight manifestations of their worst fears. As with the previous two volumes, it is a combo pack containing two DVDs and one Blu-ray. The set contains parts 18 to 25, plus the OAV episode 26.

Finally, Manga will release the first Collected Edition of Fairy Tail (left), which includes the first 24 episodes of the series.
