Hatsune Miku -Project Diva F 2nd-'s 4-Minute Promo Streamed

New features & songs highlighted in PS3/Vita rhythm game arriving on March 27

Sega began streaming a four-minute promotional video for its Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- F 2nd- rhythm game on Thursday. Saki Fujita, the voice actress who supplied the voice samples for the virtual idol Hatsune Miku, narrates the video.

The video highlights some of the 40 included songs, the big-screen advantage of the PS3 version compared to the portability of the PS Vita version, over 160 new and remade costumes, and over 20 skin designs.

It then introduces the new or updated features such as "scratching" (dragging across) the screen to play on the PS Vita version, help items (play assist, recovery, safety judge, double killer, and star killer) to keep the game's difficulty in check, interacting with Miku and the other characters in the Diva Room, the edit mode for making your own original rhythm game, the ability to download songs from the site piapro and share your original rhythm games, the "live concert anywhere" feature with the AR Live mode on PS Vita, and a recreation of the Magical Mirai 2013 concert on the PS3 version.

The PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 game will be released on March 27.

In addition to the help items, the game also offers challenge items (shy target, cool master S, high speed, micro notes, and panic) will raise the difficulty.

The PS Vita card and package versions will each retail for 7,000 yen (about US$70), while the download version will cost 6,286 yen (US$63). People who pre-order the PS Vita version will receive an "Anywhere Laundry Bag":

The first Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F game will be released in the West next month.
