Naruto is #1 in U.S. Bookstores in April

posted on by Andre Pappas

Volume 65 of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto was the best-selling graphic novel in the U.S. according to Nielsen BookScan's list of top 20 graphic novel sales in April.

The first volume of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan ranked at #7, followed by volume 2 at #8, volume 3 at #14 and volume 9 at #20. Four volumes of Attack on Titan also appeared on the chart in March.

Additionally, volume 60 of Tite Kubo's Bleach ranked at #13 and Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online: Aincrad made its first appearance on the chart at #15.

The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Amazon, Walmart.com, and some other venues.
