Attack on Titan Tops Graphic Novels in U.S. Bookstores in May

Six volumes of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga series ranked on Nielsen BookScan's list of top 20 graphic novel sales in May. Attack on Titan volume 12 ranked #1, followed by volume 1 at #2, volume 2 at #11, volume 3 at #14, volume 4 at #17, and volume 9 at #19.
Additionally, Max and Greg Borenstein and Eric Battle's Godzilla: Awakening prequel comic ranked at #3, volume 65 of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto at #4, and volume 3 of OKAYADO's Monster Musume at #9.
In March, Attack on Titan volume 1 ranked at #5, followed by volume 2 at #7, volume 3 at #15, and volume 11 at #19. Naruto volume 64 also ranked at #8.
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Amazon, Walmart.com, and some other venues.
