Man uploads woman's real name, says that she "considerably damaged the character" through her video

A 26-year old unemployed man from Toyohashi City in Aichi Prefecture was arrested on Monday for threatening a woman on online message board 2Channel in response to the woman's voice-over of a Touhou Project character (not specifically the character displayed at right).

At approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, the man threatened a 22-year-old woman in Himeji City who is currently working part-time doing voice-overs for a video inspired by the Touhou Project. He wrote that he would “pour gasoline on her and burn and destroy her.” The man uploaded her real name to the message board, and wrote that she “considerably damaged the character” and that “she should receive divine punishment.”
