Sword Art Online II Anime's New Trailer Debuts Before July 5 Premiere

Aniplex began streaming a new trailer for the Sword Art Online II anime series on Sunday. The trailer began streaming online shortly after the early screening event in Japan for episode one.

Kikuoka: Gun Gale Online... Do you know of it?
Kazuto: Well, yeah. It's the only MMO in Japan with pro players.
Kikuoka: What I'm about to say is unconfirmed information, but... A user wrote on their blog that something strange happened within GGO.

Sinon: Sword Art Online II, activated.

The new series will adapt the third arc, Phantom Bullet, from Reki Kawahara's original light novel series. The arc from the fifth and sixth novel volumes features the heroine Sinon and the protagonist Kirito.

The United States premiere screening event will be held at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 4. Original light novel author Reki Kawahara and illustrator and character designer abec will be in attendance. Crunchyroll will stream the series starting on July 5, and the Japanese broadcast of the anime will start on the same day.
