News Haruhi Suzumiya Campaign Site, DVD Menu Designer Katie Schroeder Passes Away

North American anime DVD producer Richard Noboru Kekahuna announced that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya website designer and anime DVD menu designer Katherine Schroeder passed away on Thursday after a long battle with cancer. She was in her 30s.
Kekahuna credits Schroeder for conceptualizing the American SOS Brigade marketing campaign for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, including the Easter Eggs hidden on the website and coded messages.
Schroeder's parents currently have a Caring Bridge website where friends and family can leave their messages and submit photos of Schroeder for her memorial service.
