Manga series tells story of original character from PSP game

This year's September issue of ASCII Media Works' Monthly Sylph magazine announced on Tuesday that the Durarara!! 3way standoff -alley- manga will end in the magazine's next issue on August 22.

The manga adapts the PlayStation Portable game of the same name, which is itself inspired by Ryohgo Narita and Suzuhito Yasuda's Durarara!! light novels and anime. The game debuted in 2010 and received a PlayStation Vita port last month. Izuco Fujiya (Kataribe no List) is drawing the manga, which focuses on the game's original character, Yoshimune Miyoshi (nicknamed "Yoshiyoshi").

Yen Press published the first Durarara!! manga in North America, and it published the third volume of Saika Arc in January. The first anime adaptation of the light novels aired in 2010 and a second series is in development.
