Anime Sols Outlines 7 More Streaming Campaigns

Anime Sols announced on Wednesday that it will launch seven more shows for streaming campaigns over the coming months. The site recently launched US$2,700 crowdfunding campaigns to stream the first 13 episodes of Osamu Tezuka's Dororo and Tatsunoko Production's Gordian, The Warrior (Toshi Gordian).
The site will add director Gisaburô Sugii (Touch, Dororo) and Osamu Tezuka's Goku no Daibōken and Tatsunoko Production's Space Ace on July 26. Gisaburô Sugii spans 39 episodes and adapts the classic Journey to the WEST. tale. The color anime series premiered on Japanese TV in 1967.
The 1965 Space Ace series is the first anime ever produced by Tatsunoko. The 52-episode black and white series follows Dr. Tatsunoko after his underwater research team discovers mysterious radiation emanating from a giant clam. Dr. Tatsunoko and his daughter Asari discover after further research that a being from the planet Parlum is within the radioactive pearl inside the clam. The pearl "hatches" a mysterious boy named Ace who can use his silver ring as an aircraft or a weapon to defend Earth form alien invaders.
On August 9, the site will add Tatsunoko's Time Bokan, the 1975 anime series preceding the later Yatterman, and Temple the Balloonist (Fuusen Shoujo Temple-chan). Time Bokan was previously released as two re-edited feature length films by Harmony Gold USA and Jim Terry, Time Fighters and Time Fighters in The Land of Fantasy. The movies were released on VHS in 1984. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the OVA series Time Bokan: Royal Revival, which follows the villains of Time Bokan, Yatterman, and other Tatsunoko Production series.
Temple the Balloonist follows a young girl named Temple and her band of musical animals as they journey to return her home in a hot air balloon. The series was released in multiple languages in Latin America and Europe.
On August 30, Anime Sols will add the previously announced Wonder Three anime series by Osamu Tezuka and Tatsunoko Pro's Kerokko Demetan.
Wonder Three (The Amazing Three) was the first original television anime created by Tezuka's Mushi Production studio and the first Japanese made-for-television animated program to use a specific animation illustrator for each specific character. The black-and-white series ran for 52 episodes from 1965-1966 and was later broadcast in the United States in 1967.
Tezuka Productions describes the story:
The three spacemen who are transformed into a rabbit, a horse, and a duck --- Bokko, Bukko and Nokko --- watch over the activities of a boy named Hoshi Shinichi and his elder brother Hoshi Koichi, who is a member of a group of secret agents that the Phoenix involves in the protection of the earth. The three come to the earth to decide whether to ruin or protect the planet.
Kerokko Demetan anime series was previously released in North America as two edited animated films The Brave Frog and The Brave Frog's Greatest Adventure, by Harmony Gold in the 1980s. The 1973 anime series follows the adventures of a boy frog named Demetan and his friend, a girl a frog named Ranatan.
Anime Sols will also add Tatsunoko's Belfy and Lil'bit (The Lil'bits) beginning on September 13. The Saban-produced English version was broadcast in North America as The Lil'bits on Nick Jr. in the early 90s. The story spans 26 episodes and follows a village of pixies living in the forest.
