Viz's Shonen Jump to Run Blue Exorcist Author's 1-Shot

This year's 36th issue of Viz Media's digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that the company will run the "Astronerd" one-shot manga by Blue Exorcist author Kazue Katō in the magazine's next issue on August 11.

Viz Media describes the story as, "a special one-shot about the impending doom of humanity and their only remaining hope —a nerd!"

Viz Media also publishes Kato's Blue Exorcist manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. The 11th compiled volume of the manga shipped in North America in March. Aniplex of America released the television anime and film adaptations.
