Game Publisher Atlus Japan began streaming a character promotional video featuring Persona 4's Margaret for its upcoming 2D fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax on Thursday.
Margaret: I wonder what end- no... What meetings the fate of the visitor who just came will bring?
Margaret: Oh my... Welcome to the Velvet Room.
Margaret ...Well, whatever. Please go and buy 100 cans of cola for me, will you?
Margaret: Elizabeth... Do you have no intention to return? Theo is worrying about you as well.
Margaret: Heh... The third trial that came your way... No, I suppose that to you all, it is considered the "continuation" of the incident from the other day.
Margaret: I wonder if you can overcome the trials this time?
Announcer: The empress waits for the time to arrive, and then descends! The super-sadistic secretary who keeps a handsome man as a pet! Margaret!
Margaret: Through the silence, it becomes a labyrinth... All of you are inside a special kind of time. The fog is thick, and even those who cannot use powers will be swallowed up by it.
Margaret: It's not like you to trip at a place like this. My, my. Show me a kind of power that will surprise me. Come! To the peak of that power!
Margaret: You're bound to suffer with such a large amount of curiosity.
Atlus USA also began streaming English-dubbed character videos for Sho Minazuki and Shadow Labrys, as well as the DLC characters Adachi and Marie. Sho Minazuki has two videos for two different characters going by "Sho" and "Minazuki."
The DLC characters trailer contains spoilers for Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the PlayStation 3 port of an arcade game, will ship in Japan on August 28 as Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultrasuplex Hold and Atlus will ship the game in North America on September 30. First copies will come with a code to download an extra scenario set for the game. Tōru Adachi and Marie from Persona 4 will appear as playable DLC characters.
The story takes place only a few days after the events of Persona 4 Arena, when the town of Inaba is clouded in a shroud of red fog in which time is warped and people disappear. Inaba has almost become like the world inside the television. To add to it all, the members of the Persona 4 team find Mitsuru and Akihiko being crucified on the Midnight Channel. In front of the Inaba students appear Yukari and Junpei, members of the Shadow Worker unit who have come to the rural town in order to save their upperclassmen.
Atlus released the first Persona 4 Arena (Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena) game for Japan in 2012 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and Atlus USA released the game in North America less than two weeks later.
