3 New Parasyte Film Teasers Preview Shinichi, Migi

TOHO began streaming three new videos promoting the first of the two live-action film adaptations of Hitoshi Iwaaki's Parasyte (Kiseiju) science-fiction horror manga began streaming on Wednesday:
Text: One day, daily life suddenly...
Woman: Someone on the earth thought this for just a moment: I must protect everyone's lives.
Text: Was eaten.
Man: I wonder if the rumor is true... That there's a creature that lives off of humans.
Text: They prey on humans.
Man: Eat and kill the entire race.
Text: They eat humans.
Migi: I failed at controlling your brain, and I'm like, "Aw, darn."
Shinichi: My brain!?
Migi: Just call me Migi.
Migi: My comrades are just eating! Don't you think that's it's too modest just to eat up only humankind?
Shinichi: I think our sets of morals are way too different...
Shinichi: They're inside the school!?
Teacher: It's so interesting that you're co-existing with the human.
Student: Hey. It really is just taking over your arm.
Shinichi: What, are you telling me to be a politician!?
Teacher: Think of all the students as hostages.
Migi: If you attack this human, I will kill you!
Satomi: You're Shinichi Izumi, right...?
Teacher: Are they mixed in...?
Student: This is so interesting...
Man: You should be able to realize the importance of "us."
Shinichi: Migi!?

Text: Will you fight? Or be eaten? Will the survivor be mankind or the parasytes?
Migi: Haha! The day when parasytes take over humanity might really come!
Shinichi: Don't say that being so chipper.

Sadao Abe: Everyone in front of the TV, I'm Sadao Abe, the voice of Migi.
Text: Sadao Abe is chosen as the role of the Parasyte Migi!
Migi: I failed at controlling your brain, and I'm feeling in despair.
Kenichi: Um, that's my line.

Migi: Just call me Migi.
Shōta Sometani (live-action xxxHOLiC, All Esper Dayo!) will star in the films as Shinichi Izumi, Eri Fukatsu (Onnanoko Monogatari) will play Ryōko Tamiya, and Ai Hashimoto (Blood-C: The Last Dark, live-action Another, Sadako 3D) will play Satomi Murano. The cast will also feature Tadanobu Asano as Gotō, Masahiro Higashide as Hideo Shimada, Miko Yoki as Nobuko Izumi, Jun Kunimura as Hirama, Kazuki Kitamura as Takeshi Hirokawa, Hirofumi Arai as Uragami, Pierre Taki as Miki, and Nao Ōmori as Kuramori. Sadao Abe will also star as the voice of Migi.
Takashi Yamazaki (live-action Space Battleship Yamato, Always: Sunset on Third Street) is directing the films. Ryūta Kosawa (Always: Sunset on Third Street, Shōnen H) is writing the films' scripts. The first film is slated to open in Japan on November 29, and the second film will open in 2015.
The manga is also getting a television anime adaptation that will air on NTV starting in October.
