Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin Films Earn 10 Billion Yen

The three live-action Rurouni Kenshin films have collectively earned over 10 billion yen (about US$90 million). The announcement was made on Monday, when lead actor Takeru Satoh appeared at a screening of the third film (Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends) at Tokyo's Shinjuku Piccadilly theater. Satoh thanked the audience for helping to make this feat possible.
