Kill Bill Animator Nakazawa Creates Ad for Manchester United, Nissin Food

English professional football (soccer) club Manchester United and its official global partner Nissin Food, maker of Cup Noodles among other food products, unveiled an animated commercial on Saturday. Japanese animator Kazuto Nakazawa (Kill Bill, Digimon: The Golden Digimentals) created the 30-second ad, titled "Hungry to Win."
Manchester United players Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, and Angel Di Maria appear in the video, which was created to market Nissin products with the Manchester United brand in countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Japan, Mexico, and Kenya.
The marketing campaign is designed to be inspirational, and the video was "created to inspire its consumers to 'rise to the challenge' and reflect Manchester United's vision – to be the best both on and off the pitch."
