Tekken 7 Arcade Introduction Trailer Features New Characters

Bandai Namco Games began streaming an "Arcade Introduction" trailer for Tekken 7 on Tuesday.
The video previews the game's utilization of Unreal Engine 4, the new characters Claudio and Katarina, and the new "Power Crash" and "Rage Arts" game systems. "Power Crash" will allow a counter attack in the middle of an opponent's attack. "Rage Arts" is a special power crash that can be invoked while in rage mode.
The arcade version ran a location test in early October and will begin its second round of location testing on November 22 and 23 in select locations in Japan. The game is scheduled for release in February. The game was announced at Evo 2014, although the announcement was not originally planned. Tekken series producer Katushiro Harada said he had "no choice but to announce" it when the game's logo appeared during a projection test earlier at Evo 2014, followed by a IGN news reel that was briefly posted on AOL Video.
Harada was quoted in an IGN news video that, "With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve the visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it. Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it allows us to easily bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire."
