posted on by Egan Loo
Aoba wakes up in mysterious place with visions in December 24 release

The official website for the DRAMAtical Murder television anime began streaming a promotional video for the unaired original video anime (OVA) "Data_xx_Transitory" on Sunday.

In the beginning of the video, the other Aoba says: "What's right, what's wrong. What decides that is the human heart. But what exactly is this thing called the heart? It may be that for some it is light but for others it is darkness. Knowing nothing of darkness, one hopes for nothing but light. But that's impossible."

In the story, Aoba wakes up in a mysterious place. Someone who looks just like Aoba is sitting there, and he says, "This is all the result of what you caused." As if in response to his words, shifting visions of friends appear before Aoba's eyes, one after another. Is this really a dream, an illusion, or something else…?

The 30-minute OVA episode will ship with the television anime's Blu-ray and DVD box sets on December 24. The box set will include all 12 episodes, as well as the original soundtrack CD, a drama CD titled "Dramatical Kissa Cyan Moon he Yōkoso" (Welcome to Dramatical Tea Shop Cyan Moon), and a special booklet.

The anime adapts Nitro+CHiRAL's boys-love adventure game. The game's story centers on a young man named Aoba who lives with his grandmother on the island Midorijima. He works at a junk shop in the island's Former Residents District after Toue builds the Platinum Jail resort on part of Midorijima and forces residents to move. Aoba is content with his simple life but gets pulled into mysterious events unfolding on the island.

Crunchyroll streamed the television series as it airs in Japan.
