Fafner: Exodus BDs/DVDs Listed with 13 Episodes

The official website for anime studio XEBEC zwei's upcoming Fafner sequel, Sōkyū no Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Exodus, reported on six Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes with 13 episodes on them. XEBEC zwei had said in 2013 that the sequel will be a 26-episode television series. The six Blu-ray/DVD volumes will ship monthly between February 4, 2015 and July 8, 2015.
The websit also reported that the CD with the band angela's theme songs, the opening "Exist" and the ending "Anya Kōro" (Dark Night Route), will ship on February 11 with a Blu-ray of the "Exist" music video. The website had already announced in 2013 that angela will perform the them songs.
The planned 26-episode television anime is set in the year 2151, two and a half years after the film Sōkyū no Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Heaven and Earth. The 10th-anniversary project will reunite the main staff from the first Fafner television series, including director Nobuyoshi Habara at XEBEC zwei and Xebec. Tow Ubukata is writing the project, and King Records' Gou Nakanishi is a producer.
The TV anime will premiere in Japan in January.
