Rodea the Sky Soldier Game's 1st Trailer Unveiled

Kadokawa unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming Rodea the Sky Soldier video game for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems on Tuesday. The video features the song "Forever" by chay, and stars voice talents Fumihiko Tachiki as Giato, as well as Kana Hanazawa as Ion.

Text: Those feelings from back then are surely continuing into this adventure.
Giato: I am the emperor of the Naga Empire, Giato!
Ion: Thank you... You're not alone, Rodea. We're going to save the Garuda of Wind... Together.
Text: And so, 1,000 years passed.
Boy: Hey! This really, really is amazing, right!?
Ion: Rodea!!
Ion: That giant fleet... It's too big, even for you Rodea...
Ion: If all the memories come back, are you going to become a Rodea I don't know...?

The game is scheduled to be shipped in Japan this coming spring.

Kadokawa announced the game with Sonic franchise co-creator Yuji Naka as the creator in 2011 for the Wii and Nintendo 3DS consoles. However, no further details were announced until earlier this month, when it was revealed that the game would be released for the Wii U instead of the Wii.
