Cardcaptor Sakura Book of Revised Key Frames to be Sold at Comiket 87

Anime Style also releases Animated Artworks (Special Edition), Animated Character Designs (Full-Scale Drawings)

Magazine Anime Style will release three art books for the anime adaptation of Clamp's Card Captor Sakura manga at the Comic Market 87 event that will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight venue from December 28 to 30.

The Card Captor Sakura: Revised Key Frames by the Animation Director book will contain 448 A5-sized pages, and will cost 3,500 yen (about US$33). The book contains key frames left at animation studio Mad House that have been revised. The key frames served as guidelines for animators animating scenes.

The Card Captor Sakura: Animated Artworks (Special Edition) book will contain 448 A5-sized pages, and will cost 3,500 yen. The book contains character designs and other creation materials from the anime. Although some of the drawings were published in a previous Mook (magazine-book), this volume contains many more pages of artwork.

The Card Captor Sakura: Animated Character Designs (Full-Scale Drawings) book will contain 32 B4-sized pages, and will cost 2,000 yen (about US$17). The book will contain a best selection of full-body character designs.

Anime Style notes that the books will only be sold at Comic Market 87 and through its online shopping service, but not through large bookstores or online retailers like the Japanese branch of Amazon.com.
