Game gets special edition bundle with New 3DS

Nintendo streamed a new trailer for its Nintendo 3DS port of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask at its Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday. The game will ship in Europe and North America on February 13.

The New Nintendo 3DS system will ship on the same day. Nintendo will offer a "Majora's Mask Edition" bundle with both the game and a New Nintendo 3DS XL with a Majora's Mask design.

The C-stick on the New 3DS will support full 360-degree camera movement in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D.

Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel began streaming a longer trailer for the game, as well as a bonus video narrated by producer Eiji Aonuma. The bonus video, part of a series that will highlight locations in the world of Termina, explores Clock Town.

The story follows Link in the land of Termina where he has only three days to stop the moon from destroying the world. Nitendo President Satoru Iwata said that the remake will maintain the game's challenges while also streamlining its gameplay.

The original game was released in 2000 and later released for GameCube in the The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition in 2003 and the Wii virtual console in 2009.

Update: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask will come pre-installed on the limited edition system in Europe, but will not bundle with the game in in North America. The US$199.99 retail price in North America does not include the game.
