Isuca Anime's 1st Episode Previewed in Video

Kadokawa began streaming a preview video for the first episode of the Isuca anime on Monday. The video features the anime's opening theme, "Never Say Never" by idol group Afilia Saga (My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy, Hyperdimension Neptunia).
Sakuya: You demons who prey on the vigor of the living in order to stay in this world! I, the seventh head of the Shimazu clan Sakuya Shimazu will seal you all away real quick! You'd better be grateful from the bottom of your heart! Episode 1 - Chance Meeting. It starts from a single girl's mana.
The story of Osamu Takahashi's Isuca manga revolves around Shinichirō, a male student who gets a job as a housekeeper in order to pay his rent. While on the job, he accidentally releases a strange creature into the world, and he learns that his female employer named Sakuya Shimazu is the head of the Shimazu clan that hunts these creatures. Shinichirō cooperates with her to hunt down the monsters that are running loose.

Akane Kohinata as Matsuri Sōma
Saeko Zōgō (Chaika the Coffin Princess, Date A Live II) as Nadeshiko Sōma
Ayumi Fujimura (Squid Girl) as Isuca
Akira Iwanaga (Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee) will direct the anime at ARMS (Himawari!, Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny) with series composition by Masashi Suzuki (Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox, The Sacred Blacksmith). TWO-FORMULA will perform the ending theme.
The anime will premiere in Japan on January 23. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs.
