Kadokawa began streaming a promotional video for the home video release Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow Vol. 2 - Aegean Umi no Megami (Goddess of the Aegean Sea) original video anime (OVA) on Wednesday. The video features the project's main theme song, "Connect Link" by Yoko Ishida (Ah! My Goddess, Prétear).

Narrator: The Blu-ray and DVD release of Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow Vol. 2 - Aegean Umi no Megami is full of special features, and goes on sale in March!

The anime will release on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on March 13, with the Blu-ray retailing for 5,600 yen (about US$47) and the DVD selling for 4,600 yen (about US$39). Both will come bundled with a 68-page "31st Strike Witches Unit Record" booklet, a "hidden voice CD" featuring the voices of Hanna-Justina Marseille and Raisa Pöttgen, and a three-sided box with two different illustrations by Humikane Shimada and Kazuhiro Takamura. The disc itself will have promotional videos and TV spots as bonus video features.

The OVA opened in select Japanese theaters on January 10.

The anime episode's cast stars:

Chiwa Saito as Francesca Lucchini
Ami Koshimizu as Charlotte E Yeager
Shizuka Itou as Hanna-Justina Marseille
Aiko Kusumi as Raisa Pöttgen

The episode is the second of three 30-minute short stories that depict the lives of the members who returned to their respective homes after the end of Operation Mars in the second television series. The story is set before the 2012 Strike Witches movie. The first episode, Saint-Trond no Raimei, premiered on September 20.

The Strike Witches anime adapts Humikane Shimada's mecha-girl illustrations. The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season aired in 2010. Crunchyroll streamed the second anime season as it aired in Japan, and Funimation released the first two seasons on DVD. In addition to the 2012 anime film, a third television anime series was announced in 2013.
