Hajime Tabata confirms demo's playable date at Taipei Game Show

Square Enix began streaming the final trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on Thursday. The trailer confirms that the included Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae demo will be playable starting on Type-0 HD's release day in Japan (March 19).

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata also confirmed when the Final Fantasy XV demo would be playable during a talk show at the Taipei Game Show:

Square Enix describes Final Fantasy Type-0 HD:

Step into the fray as Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from an elite military academy whose country is attacked by an aggressive neighboring Empire. Using the powerful abilities and magic of all fourteen characters in fast-paced action RPG combat, players must face the brutality and injustices of war to uncover the secrets of its genesis.

The game will arrive in North America on March 17, in Japan on March 19, and in Europe on March 20. The game will cost 6,800 yen (US$63) and bundle the Final Fantasy XV demo in Japan, while the North American release will include a voucher for the demo.

The collectors edition will ship on the same day as the regular version, and will include a steel book case with a design by Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano, the game's original soundtrack, a 200-page manga, an 80-page art book, five life-size replicas of cards featured in the game and a Final Fantasy XV -Episode Duscae- demo. The collectors edition will retail for US$99.

Those who pre-order the special edition will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a Final Fantasy Type-0 custom PlayStation 4, an art canvas of Ace, and a Vermilion Bird lapel pin.
