Animax Adds The Mystic Archives of Dantalian

In a press release, the Animax UK site announced that it will be adding Gainax's series Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian (Dantalian no Shoka) or The Mystic Archives of Dantalian. All twelve episodes will be added on Friday February 20 at 5 p.m.

Yutaka Uemura directed this adaptation of Gakuto Mikumo's light novel series. In thestory, a young man named Huey (Daisuke Ono) in 1920s London meets a girl named Dalian (Miyuki Sawashiro) who handles the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, the forbidden books of demonic wisdom. From Animax's synopsis:

When Hugh Anthony Disward inherits an old mansion and a personal library from his grandfather he meets a mysterious girl, Dalian, in the basement of the old property. She is a Dantalian and a gateway to "Dantalian's bookshelf," which stores the prohibited books of the demons. "Gensho (Illusory Books)," the prohibited books, endanger the balance of the world, but people are fascinated by the taboo. Forming a close friendship, Hugh and Dalian solve the cases involving Gensho with their ability to access the Dantalian bookshelf.
