California's Anison USA Festival Welcomes Singer, Voice Actress Halko Momoi

Organizers of California's first Anison USA festival announced that they will host Japanese voice actress and singer Halko Momoi during their March 13-14 event.
As a voice actress, Momoi is credited in over 30 animated titles including Ai Yori Aoshi, the anime adaptation of Tales of the Abyss and Steins;Gate. As a musical artist, Momoi teamed up with guitarist Masaya Koike forming the band UNDER17 and created the opening themes to the anime series Kujibiki Unbalance and DearS. Though the group broke up in 2004, Momoi has since went on to pursue an individual music career and eventually create her own production label, “Akihabara Love Records.” She recently sang themes for Hyperdimension Neptunia and Kaitō Tenshi Twin Angel: Kyun Kyun Tokimeki Paradise!!
Momoi has previously attended and performed multiple times at North American anime conventions including Anime Expo in 2007, Anime North in 2008, three times at FanimeCon, and Montreal's Otakuthon in 2011.
Anison USA will also host North American voice actress Cristina Vee, J-Pop singer Chii Sakurabi, and musical guests Lolita Dark, DJ Meirin, Stephanie Yanez, Midnight Shinigami, and Ichigo Crush.
Anison USA's live concert will be held at The Terrance in Pasadena, California on March 14. A White Chocolate Party will also be held at Xenon in Little Tokyo with limited tour merchandise on March 13.
