Drawn & Quarterly to publish Mizuki's other manga in May & November

Manga creator Shigeru Mizuki is ending his Watashi no Hibi (My Everyday) autobiographical manga in this year's seventh issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic magazine on Wednesday.

In the visual essay manga series, Mizuki tells of his peaceful childhood, his experience in World War II, his poor life afterward, and his foray into kamishibai picture stories. Mizuki launched the manga in December 2013 in Big Comic magazine.

North American publisher Drawn & Quarterly will publish Shigeru Mizuki's biographical Hitler manga in November. The publisher has also released many of Mizuki's other works, such as NonNonBâ, Onward Towards Our Noble Deaths, and Showa: A History of Show Japan (Comic Showa-Shi), the latter two of which were nominated for a Harvey Award in 2012 and 2014, respectively. They also published a one-volume selection of Mizuki's GeGeGe no Kitarō series under the title Kitaro.
