As previously announced, Yoshiyuki Asai will direct the anime at P.A. Works from an original concept and scripts by Maeda. Kanami Sekiguchi is adapting Na-Ga's original character designs. Maeda will also compose the music.

The anime will premiere in July.

The story centers around the special abilities that occur among a small percentage of boys and girls in puberty. Yū Otosaka uses his power without others knowing, and lives a fairly normal, average school life. Before him suddenly appears a girl, Nao Tomori. Due to his meeting with her, the fate of special power-users will be exposed.

The work is being released in celebration of Key's 15th anniversary, and will be Maeda's 2nd original anime work, with the first being Angel Beats! in 2010.

Thanks to Dennis R and Kagayaki for the videos
