Love Live!'s Yoshino Nanjou Cancels Shanghai Concert Appearance Due to Knee Injury

The official website for the Love Live! project announced on Thursday that, due to a worsening knee injury, voice actress and singer Yoshino Nanjō has cancelled her concert appearance at the Lantis Festival Anisong World Tour 2015 concert in Shanghai, China on April 12. Nanjou's physician has forbidden her from any strenuous activity and trips abroad.
In the announcement, the Lantis Festival production committee apologized to the fans, and noted that the other eight members will still perform.
While Nanjou is also scheduled to appear in a concert in Taipei, Taiwan on April 18-19, the announcement noted that the staff will judge the progress of her recovery and announce whether or not she will appear around that time.
Yoshino Nanjō plays the role of Eli Ayase in the Love Live! multimedia franchise, and performs the franchise's theme songs alongside other Love Live! cast members under the unit name "μ's" (Muse). She also plays the role of Kokoro Akechi in the Milky Holmes franchise.
