Actress, actor to play siblings Elizabeth, Theodore for play premiering in June

The official website for the third stage play adapting Atlus' Persona 3 video game, Persona 3 the Weird Masquerade ~Sōen Kesshō~ (Persona 3 the Weird Masquerade ~Bismuth Crystal~) announced earlier this month that former BeForU vocalist and actress Riyu Kosaka (Dance Dance Revolution series, Claymore) and actor and model Ire Shiozaki will join the cast as Velvet Room siblings Elizabeth and Theodore, respectively.

The following cast members have been announced as returning (the photos below are from the second play):

Shouta Aoi as Sakuya Shiomi (male protagonist)

Kana Asumi as Kotone Shiomi (female protagonist)

Maho Tomita as Yukari Takeba

Asami Tano as Mitsuru Kirijō

Genki Okawa as Junpei Iori

Yuuki Fujiwara as Akihiko Sanada

Marina Tanoue as Fūka Yamagishi

Waku Sakaguchi and Tomonori Suzuki as Ken Amada (double-cast)

ZAQ as Aegis (Aigis)

Takeya Nishiyama as Takaya

Hiroichi Matsumoto as Jin

Keisuke Ueda as Fallos (Pharos)

Shōichi Honda as Shūji Ikutsuki

Makoto Kimura is returning to direct the play, and Kodora Kagurazawa is also returning to write the scripts. The tagline for the play is, "It's weak, it's fragile, but still, the sparkling miracle stills ties together."

The play will be performed from June 5 to 13 at the Theater G Rosso in Tokyo. There will be separate performances for the male and female protagonists, and similar to the past two plays, the two protagonists will never appear during the same performance. Tickets for normal seats for the play will cost 7,500 yen (about US$62), while special Gekkokan Seat tickets will cost 10,800 yen (US$90). Entries for a ticket pre-order lottery ended on Monday, and normal ticket sales will begin on April 25 with a first-come-first-serve policy.

This will be the third Persona 3 play, with the first, Persona 3: the Weird Masquerade ~Ao no Kakusei~ premiering in January 2014, and the second, Persona 3 the Weird Masquerade ~Gunjō no Meikyū~ (Persona 3: the Weird Masquerade ~The Ultramarine Labyrinth~) premiering last September. Both plays also had separate performances for the male protagonist (played by Shouta Aoi) and the female protagonist (Kana Asumi), and the two did not appear on stage at the same time.
