Tale Of Princess Kaguya's UK Trailer Nominated for Golden Trailer Award

posted on by Daryl Lee Hale
Edge of Tomorrow also nominated

The Golden Trailer Awards team announced last week that The Tale of Princess Kaguya's UK trailer is nominated for "Best Foreign Animation Family Trailer." The awards recognize the year's most outstanding achievements in film marketing.

The 2014 Studio Ghibli film trailer will compete against the trailers for Get Santa, Paper Planes, Shaun The Sheep The Movie, and Song of the Sea. The Editpool, a London-based film and television creative services agency, and Studio Canal, a European production and distribution company, produced the UK trailer for the film.

The film was previously nominated for an Oscar for Animated Feature Film and a Tokyo Anime Award Festival "Animation of the Year" award.

Edge of Tomorrow, the live-action film based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, was also nominated in the "Best Action TV Spot" category for the TV spot "Judgement Day."

A ceremony announcing the winners of the Golden Trailer Awards will take place May 6.
