If Her Flag Breaks Author Touka Takei Begins Gakudan! Music Manga

This year's June issue of Kadokawa's Comp Ace will debut the first chapter of the manga Gakudan! (Orchestra!) by Touka Takei (If Her Flag Breaks) on Saturday. Anri Sakano is providing the art.
The story is about a high school girl who is followed by the spirit of Beethoven. She joins the orchestra club with a number of other girls with colorful personalities.
From November 2012. Takei launched the If Her Flag Breaks (Kanojo ga Flag o Oraretara) light novel series with illustrations by CUTEG (Kokoro Connect manga, NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them! light novels) in 2011. Crunchyroll streamed the television anime as it aired in Japan, and NIS America has licensed the anime for North American release.
Nagian began a manga adaptation in Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Rival in 2011, though the magazine ceased publication in June 2014 and the series was moved to Shōnen Sirius. The first part ended in February and the second part will begin on Saturday.
