Arc System Works released PS Vita version based on voice actor's novel in 2013

NHN PlayArt revealed at the "Niconico Chō Kaigi 2015" event in Chiba on Sunday that it will release a PC version of the Getsuei Gakuen -kou- video game. Arc System Works had released a revamped PlayStation Vita version of the dōjin game in October 2013. The game is based on a novel written by voice actor Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama's Gintoki).

The original novel was released at Comic Market 79 in 2010, and it was later remade as a dōjin game for Comic Market 81 in 2011. Arc System Works' version revamped the scenarios, characters, music, and other elements from the earlier dōjin game.

The story follows Eiri Mizuki, a high school girl who came to Getsuei Academy to find her missing brother. There, she encounters abnormal beings called "Hazard" which the students fight against. Eiri seeks to find the truth at the end of the battle.

Sugita collaborated with scenario writer Dan Mitachi, while Ryō Kanai, Kohaku Sumeragi, and Yomi Sarachi served as illustrators for the game. Kenji Itō (Haganai's in-anime game music composition, Akiko Hasegawa's single CD composition) composed the soundtrack.

Sugita is most well known for his work as Gintama's Gintoki Sakata. His other roles include Alice in the Country of Hearts: Wonderful Wonder World's Nightmare, Sket Dance's Switch, Chobits' Hideki, Hiiro no Kakera - The Tamayori Princess Saga's Takuma, and Inu X Boku Secret Service's Kagerou.
