REDCAT Int'l Children's Fest to Show Anime Shorts in L.A.

6 shorts, including 5 stop-motion animations, aimed at children

The 10th annual REDCAT International Children's Film Festival will screen six anime shorts in Los Angeles. All but Masanobu Hiraoka's "Land" are stop-motion shorts.

Masanobu Hiraoka's "Land"

Yuichi Ito's "Doron Coron"

Mari Miyazawa's "Decorations"

"Growing up is literally the icing on the cake for a mother and daughter."

Mari Miyazawa's "Twins in Bakery" and Yoshino Aoki's "Maple Syrup" screened at last year's festival.

This year's festival will be held weekends from May 2 through May 17 at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater (REDCAT).
