23rd Animator Expo Short Is Moyoco Anno's 'Memoirs of amorous gentlemen'

Japan Animator Expo, the project of weekly anime shorts from Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara and the media company Dwango, revealed on Monday that the 23rd short will be Moyoco Anno's "Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen" ("Bikachō Shinshi Kaikoroku").
The short will adapt Moyoco Anno's manga of the same name. The manga is available in English on Crunchyroll.
Shiro Sagisu (Evangelion films, Magi) composed the music and Cork Inc. is handling production.

The short will debut on Friday.
In addition, the project announced that the 12 episodes of the first season will be removed from the website on May 31 at 11:00 a.m. EDT.
The second season's remaining shorts include:

CHRONIC feat.daoko / TeddyLoid, "(Making of) Evangelion:Another Impact," Ikuto Yamashita and Kazuhiro Furuhashi's Iconic Field, and Tadashi Hiramatsu and Ren Sakaki's Ibuseki Yoruni.
Hideaki Anno himself is serving as executive producer of the entire project initiative with Dwango President Nobuo Kawakami, and he also designed the image character mascot "(Tor)-kun." Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki created the title logo, and fellow Ghibli co-founder Toshio Suzuki colored it. The shorts mostly feature the voice talent of Ranma ½ and Cowboy Bebop co-stars Kouichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara.
