Sumire Uesaka Performs Ending Theme for Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai Anime

posted on by Karen Ressler

Singer and voice actress Sumire Uesaka's website announced on Sunday that her upcoming sixth single "Inner Urge" will be the ending theme for the anime Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai (A Boring World Where the Concept of 'Dirty Jokes' Doesn't Exist) .

Uesaka is also playing Oboro Tsukimigusa in the series. She previously performed theme songs for Muromi-san, Hozuki's Coolheadedness, and other anime.

The single will ship on July 22, and a limited edition will include a promotional video for the song on DVD.

Hirotaka Akagi's original light novels' story is set 16 years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country. Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajō. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush).

The cast includes:

Youhei Suzuki (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) is directing the series with series scripts by Masahiro Yokotani (Free! Eternal Summer, Riddle Story of Devil) at J.C. Staff. Masahiro Fujii (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Hayate the Combat Butler, The Familiar of Zero) is adapting Eight Shimotsuki's original character designs. Akiyuki Tateyama is scoring the music with the production label Starchild. Jin Aketagawa is directing the sound, and GENCO is producing the anime.

Akagi launched the light novel series with illustrations by Eight Shimotsuki in 2012, and Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint published the eighth volume in February. N' Yuzuki has been drawing a manga adaptation in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade magazine since last year.

The anime series will premiere in July.
