The fourth episode, "Nikushimi no Kioku Kara" (From the Memories of Hatred), will premiere on July 4. The series was originally slated for four episodes, but Sunrise producer Yoshitaka Kawaguchi announced last month that the project will have a fifth episode. The fifth episode will be titled "Itoshiki Mono-tachi e" (To Those Who are Precious), and is slated to premiere this fall.

The third episode of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled premiered in theaters in Japan on May 2 after being delayed from last spring. The second episode premiered in September 2013.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion premiered in Japan in 2006, while Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 premiered in 2008. The Adult Swim network aired both series in North America in 2008.
