North American video game publisher XSEED Games announced on Friday that it will release the games Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, Return to PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale, Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I and II in North America.

XSEED will release Senran Kagura: Estival Versus (Senran Kagura Estival Versus -Shōjo-tachi no Sentaku-) on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this winter. The game shipped on both systems in Japan on March 26. The PS4 special edition included an original anime.

The Nintendo 3DS game Senran Kagura 2 is also coming to North America from XSEED this summer.

XSEED will release the Nintendo 3DS game Return to PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale (PoPoLoCrois Bokujō Monogatari) this winter. The farming simulation game is a crossover between the Bokujō Monogatari (Harvest Moon/A Story of Seasons) and Popolocrois Monogatari game series.

The game is slated to ship in Japan on June 18.

XSEED will release Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair this fall. The PlayStation 4 game is an updated port of Earth Defense Force 4, which D3 Publisher released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as Earth Defense Force 2025 in February 2014. The game shipped in Japan on April 2.

The PlayStation Vita game Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space is also slated for release this fall from XSEED.

XSEED will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (Eiyū Densetsu: Sen no Kiseki) on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this fall, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is forthcoming. The first game is set in the same era as 2004's The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, and was released in Japan in September 2013. The sequel shipped in Japan last year.

NIS America will publish The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel in Europe.
