2nd Parasyte Live-Action Film's English-Subtitled Trailer Streamed

Australian film distributor Madman Entertainment began streaming an English-subtitled trailer on Wednesday for Kiseijū Kanketsu-hen (Parasyte: The Final Act), the second live-action film adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki's Parasyte manga. The video reveals that Madman will screen the film in Australian theaters in a one-day limited engagement on July 25.
Madman previously screened the first Parasyte live-action film in Australia on April 26.
Shōta Sometani (live-action xxxHOLiC, All Esper Dayo!) stars in the films as Shinichi Izumi, Eri Fukatsu (Onnanoko Monogatari) plays Ryōko Tamiya, and Ai Hashimoto (Blood-C: The Last Dark, live-action Another, Sadako 3D) plays Satomi Murano. The cast also features Tadanobu Asano as Gotō, Masahiro Higashide as Hideo Shimada, Miko Yoki as Nobuko Izumi, Jun Kunimura as Hirama, Kazuki Kitamura as Takeshi Hirokawa, Hirofumi Arai as Uragami, Pierre Taki as Miki, and Nao Ōmori as Kuramori. Sadao Abe also stars as the voice of Migi.
Takashi Yamazaki (live-action Space Battleship Yamato, Always: Sunset on Third Street) directed the films. Ryūta Kosawa (Always: Sunset on Third Street, Shōnen H) wrote the films' scripts. The first film opened in Japan on November 29, and the second film opened on April 25.
The Parasyte manga also received a television anime adaptation that premiered on NTV last October. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
