Comic Cune began as supplement within Comic Alive last year

The new magazine actually began as a magazine-within-a-magazine supplement for Monthly Comic Alive last August. Monthly Comic Alive first bundled the supplement in its October 2014 issue, which was also its 100th issue.

The August issue of Monthly Comic Alive is making the formal announcement of the new magazine on Monday. Comic Cune currently has plans to run 12 four-panel manga series as well as one-shot manga:

  • Amatō's Tonari no Kyūketsuki-san
  • Kawahara-Koi's Harukiya-san wa Ijippri
  • Oshioshio's Sakura Maimai
  • Mitsuki's Hinakonote
  • Mitsuki's "Watash no Tomodachi ga Sekaichi Kawaii." (one-shot)
  • Miyakohito Lulumate
  • Hanako's Shiritsu Seijō Gakuen Kirarin Ryō
  • To-Moe's Seishun Sweet Track
  • Yūki Takasaki's Watashi no Go-shūjin-sama wa Ningen Janai Ki ga Suru
  • Muku's Nyoroko no Nama Hōsō!
  • emily's Pan de Peace!
  • Tarabagani's Nyanko Days
  • pole's Popopo no Oneesan

Book volumes of Mitsuki's Hinakonote, emily's Pan de Peace!, and Muku's Nyoroko no Nama Hōsō! manga will also ship on August 2.
