My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Sequel Game's Announcement Ad Streamed

Ryōka Yuzuki narrates video as Shizuka for sequel game by 5pb.

5pb. Games began streaming an announcement ad for the video game of the Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku television anime series on Friday.

In the ad, which uses clips from the anime series, the character Shizuka Hiratsuka (voiced by Ryōka Yuzuki) asks everyone to listen, noting that this time a new game adaptation has been announced, and that players will once again get to play as Hachiman.

Shizuka: Listen up! This time around too, we have a game in the works!
Text: The requested game adaptation is green-lit!
Shizuka: You'll play as Hachiman once again! The Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku game project has begun! I pray for you success.
Text: Let's Play as Hachiman!

The video notes that the release date, price, and game device have not yet been decided.

5pb. previously released the Yahari Game demo Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru (Even Though It's a Game, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected) PlayStation Vita game (pictured at right) based on Wataru Watari's Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) light novel series in September 2013.

Watari's romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hachiman Hikigaya with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, "They're a bunch of liars." When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, "Not working." A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer "service club," which happens to have the school's prettiest girl, Yukino Yukinoshita.

The light novel series received a television anime in 2013, and a video anime that was bundled with the PS Vita game. A second television anime season, titled Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Zoku (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!), premiered in April.

Sentai Filmworks licensed both television anime series. The company released the first series on DVD last year and plans to release the first series on Blu-ray Disc in September.

Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired and is currently streaming the second season.
