Daisuki's ACJ Hosts Anime Scriptwriter Shou Aikawa at Anime Expo

Fullmetal Alchemist, Un-Go writer to announce new TV series at panel on Friday

Anime Consortium Japan's (ACJ) Daisuki service announced on Wednesday that the company is hosting anime writer Shō Aikawa as a guest at this year's Anime Expo, which will run from July 2-5. ACJ and Aikawa will be announcing a new animated TV series at the convention that the company noted "has not even been announced in Japan yet." ACJ's industry panel will take place on Friday. Attendees at the panel will get a free movie-sized poster for the new anime while supplies last. Aikawa will also participate in two autograph sessions.

Aikawa has served as scriptwriter for such series as Un-Go, Fullmetal Alchemist, EUREKA SEVEN AO, Corpse Princess, Martian Successor Nadesico, and The Twelve Kingdoms. He is credited as the original creator for the Ghost Slayers Ayashi television anime series, and he is overseeing the scripts for the upcoming Chaos Dragon (pictured at right) television anime series.

Anime Expo's other guests this year include singer Yoko Takahashi, A-1 Pictures President Tomonori Ochikoshi, Studio Trigger's Hiroyuki Imaishi and Yoh Yoshinari (who will present Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade), Danganronpa game writer and designer Kazutaka Kodaka, rock band Wagakki Band, Vocaloid diva IA, voice actresses Tomoyo Kurosawa and Yumiri Hanamori, idol group Momoiro Clover Z along with members of American rock band KISS, manga artist Julietta Suzuki, Cannon Busters director LeSean Thomas, Satelight's Thomas Romain, light novel illustrator Luna Tsukigami, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni creator Ryukishi07, Guilty Gear game developer Daisuke Ishiwatari, Spice & Wolf light novel author Isuna Hasekura, director Naokatsu Tsuda at the English dub premiere of his JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime, Visual Art's/Key artist Itaru Hinoue, voice actress Ayako Kawasumi, the staff of the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works television anime, Mega Man co-creator Keiji Inafune, Studio 4°C founder Eiko Tanaka, and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches creator Miki Yoshikawa.

The 24th Anime Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
