Steins;Gate Zero for PS4 to Include Remaster of 1st Game

The official website for Steins;Gate 0 announced on Wednesday that first printings of the upcoming visual novel's PlayStation 4 edition will come with a download code for an HD remastered version of the original Steins;Gate on PlayStation 4. There are no plans to sell the HD port separately.
Whereas the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ports of Steins;Gate has a resolution of 1280x720, Steins;Gate HD for PlayStation 4 will have a resolution of 1920x1080.
The Steins;Gate 0 visual novel for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita is slated to ship on November 19 in Japan. An anime adaptation of Steins;Gate 0 has also been green-lit.
The original Steins;Gate game was released on Xbox 360 in 2009, and the game was later ported to the PC, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita. The game was also released on smartphones. The game inspired a fan disc spin-off titled Steins;Gate Hiyoku Renri no Darling in 2011, which was released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, as well as on smartphones. JAST USA published the original game in North America for the PC last year, while PQube published the game in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita and plans to release the game in North America on August 25.
The original game inspired a television anime in 2011, as well as an Original Film serving as an epilogue to the TV series in 2013. FUNimation Entertainment has licensed both the television series and film.
