Crossover fighting game debuted in Japanese arcades in July

Dengeki Online announced on Tuesday that the arcade fighting sequel game Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition is headed to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 17. Players who buy the game early will receive a custom theme for their device.

Ecole and French Bread again developed the game, which debuted in Japanese arcades in July.

The game adds new playable characters, such as The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'s Emi Yūsa/Emilia, Heavy Object's Quenser, and The Irregular at Magic High School's Tatsuya Shiba. It also adds new systems, such as the new ability to pick two support characters and switch between them every round, and it re-balances existing characters.

The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita port of Sega's first Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax arcade fighting game shipped in Japan on November 13. Sega plans to release the game in North America and Europe on October 6.

The first game features 14 playable characters and 23 support characters from ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko light novel titles. The game was launched to celebrate the imprint's 20th anniversary.
