Pokémon: Mega Evolution Special IV, Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru? to also debut in October

The October issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comic magazine is announcing on Tuesday that the Pokémon XY & Z television anime series will premiere on Thursday, October 29. It will air in a one-hour special with Pocket Monsters XY Tokubetsu Hen: Saikyō Mega Shinka ~Act IV~ (Pokémon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act IV~) at 7:00 p.m.

Another new program, Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru?, will also premiere on Sunday, October 4 at 8:00 a.m. The hosts will be Shōko Nakagawa and Hyadain.

Coro Coro Comic teases that Pokémon XY & Z will debut new Pokémon and Pokémon forms for the first time — in particular Jigarude (Zygarde) in its various forms (the Core brain, Cell, 10% Form, 50% Form, and the Perfect Form) and the Satoshi Gekkōga form of Gekkōga (Greninja). The Perfect Form of Zygarde stands 4.5 meters (about 15 feet) tall and weighs 610 kilograms (1,344 pounds), and magazine teases that it "surpasses Xerneas and Yveltal." The magazine notes that Satoshi Gekkōga looks similar to the clothes of the main human character Satoshi (also known as Ash in English).

The ongoing Pokémon XY television anime series airs on TV Tokyo in the 7:00 p.m. timeslot on Thursdays. The series began airing on Cartoon Network in January 2014. Cartoon Network also ran the first three Pokémon: Mega Evolution Specials. Below is the second promotional video for the fourth special:
