Koei Tecmo Reveals Toukiden 2 for PS3/PS4/Vita in 2016

Koei Tecmo Games showed a teaser movie announcing Toukiden 2, a sequel to its 2013 Toukiden PSP/PS Vita game, during the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia press conference on Tuesday. Koei Tecmo Games also began streaming the teaser movie on the same day:

The teaser notes that the game will have an "open world" structure. Koei Tecmo Games will release the game on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in 2016. Koei Tecmo Games' Omega Force subsidiary (Warriors series) is developing the game.

Koei Tecmo Games released Toukiden: Kiwami in North America on March 31 for the PS4 and PS Vita. The game is an enhanced version of the original Toukiden: The Age of Demons game. It received a PC release via Steam on June 26

Koei Tecmo Games also announced during the press conference that it will release a new game titled Nioh for the PS4 in 2016.
