Ketsuekigata-kun! 3 Blood-Type TV Anime's Ad Unveils Theme Song

Aoi Yūki, Yui Horie, Yū Kobayashi, Mai Nakahara perform song "HEARTBEAT JAM♪"

The staff of the upcoming Ketsuekigata-kun! 3 TV anime series revealed on Thursday that Aoi Yūki (A-Type-chan), Yui Horie (B-Type-chan), Yū Kobayashi (O-Type-chan), and Mai Nakahara (AB-Type-chan) will perform the anime's opening theme "HEARTBEAT JAM♪."

Earth Star Entertainment began streaming a 15-second commercial on Wednesday the previews the opening theme.

The anime will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX on October 12 at 25:08 a.m. (effectively October 13 at 1:08 a.m.), and on Sun TV on October 12 at 25:33 a.m. (effectively October 13 at 1:33 a.m.).

The voice actors happen to share the same blood types as their respective characters.

In Japan, some people believe that blood types are linked to personalities; to them, people with Type A blood are reliable, Type B blood signifies passionate people, Type O blood indicates those with an independent streak, and Type AB people are capricious.

A creator who goes by the pen name "Real Crazy Man" has been drawing the original essay comic that takes these blood-type personalities and turns them into characters.

Yoshihisa Oyama (director of photography on Aku no Hana, Say, "I Love You".) is returning to helm Ketsuekigata-kun! 3 at the studios Assez Finaud Fabric, feel., and ZEXCS. Kenichi Yamashita (Ishida and Asakura, Yumeiro Pâtissière) is also returning to be in charge of the scripts. Yoshihiro Hiramine is designing the characters, and Seishirō Nagaya and Masahiro Shinohara are producing the series.

Earth Star Entertainment published the manga volumes by "Real Crazy Man." Leeonsmart Co., Ltd. is credited with the copyright and management of the franchise.

The first TV anime aired from April to June of 2013. The second season premiered in January.
