Platinum Cineplex Adds Theaters for Live-Action Assassination Classroom Film in Indonesia

Indonesian cinema chain Platinum Cineplex revealed on its website on Friday that it will screen the live-action Assassination Classroom film. The cinema chain has branches in the cities of Cibinong, Solo, Sidoarjo, and Magelang.
The film will open in Indonesia on October 14. Cinema chains Cinemaxx and CGV Blitz are also screening the film. Encore Films is distributing the film in Indonesia.
The film opened in Japan on March 21. Eiichirō Hasumi (Umizaru films, Wild 7) directed the film, and Tatsuya Kanazawa (Saru Lock The Movie, Lucky Seven) wrote the script. Arashi band member Kazunari Ninomiya voiced Koro-sensei.
A sequel live-action film is slated to open in 2016.
The TV anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan on January 9. The second season will premiere in January 2016.
