Crayon Shin-chan Gets Spinoff Manga About His Dad

The January issue of Futabasha's Manga Town magazine will begin serializing a Crayon Shinchan spinoff manga titled Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi (Hiroshi Nohara's Luchtime Style) on December 5. Yōichi Tsukahara (Bet Time Blues, 7-iro Dandyism) is drawing the manga.
The spinoff will focus on Hiroshi Nohara, Shin-chan's father and the head of the Nohara family. The preview for the issue shows Hiroshi saying, "I'm a little noisy when I eat."
Manga Town is currently serializing the Shin Crayon Shin-chan (New Crayon Shinchan) manga. Futabasha shipped the manga's fourth compiled book volume on July 8. The preview reveals that Futabasha will ship the fifth volume on December 3.
The Crayon Shinchan franchise announced the details of its 24th film on Saturday. The Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki (Crayon Shinchan the Movie Fast Asleep! The Large Attack on the Dreaming World) film will open in Japan on April 16.
